For more than 17 years, I’ve provided strategic communications counsel to mission-driven organizations, helping them build campaigns that increase awareness, shift perceptions, and change behaviors. As part of this, I’ve worked with clients — including Kaiser Permanente, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, AARP Foundation, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the National Institutes of Health — to develop compelling brands and messaging; create partnerships that reach audiences where they are; implement paid, earned, and owned media tactics; and craft websites and materials that effectively inform and engage target audiences.
