Ileana Alamo Garay is a creative and strategic leader driving multi-channel PR campaigns and building connections among partners, clients, and communities. She is passionate about deploying inclusive storytelling and managing large-scale initiatives to improve brand experience and business performance. Her experience spans the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including working on the 2020 Census, the Puerto Rico Executive Task Force, and Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative. Through her communications and brand work at Project Management Institute, she contributes to social impact and equity while enabling and facilitating the Project Economy advocacy and coalitions throughout Latin America. Ileana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Global Communications from Georgetown University.
