Editorial Director, CyberRisk Alliance
I’m editorial director at CyberRisk Alliance and editor-in-chief of SC Media, overseeing content developed under the 30-year cyber brand as well as content development for the Cybersecurity Collaborative network of chief information security officers.
I bring 20 years of experience editing and reporting on technology development and policy. I have interviewed executives from Fortune 500 companies and government officials from around the globe, and am a regular speaker at conferences and panel events focused on technology development and policy across a range of markets.
Prior to joining the CyberRisk Alliance, I worked at Sightline Media as editor of Defense News and executive editor of the Business-to-Government Group, guiding and developing the editorial strategy for Defense News, Federal Times, C4ISRNET, and the cyber brand Fifth Domain. I previously worked for Washington Business Journal and Nextgov, covering federal technology, contracting and policy. I have been a regular commentator on local news networks; served as a guest reporter on C-SPAN’s weekly series, The Communicators; and appeared on CNBC’s Power Lunch and Markets Now on Fox Business. I received multiple award honors for my reporting and multimedia editorial projects. I hold a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in journalism, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Ohio University respectively.
