Lauren joined CDC’s Division of Global Migration and Quarantine as a health communication specialist in Oct of 2020.  In this role, she has served as part of the CDC’s Monkeypox Response, COVID-19 response, and has worked on a variety of communication projects ranging from content creation to engagement with various partners.  Prior to joining DGMQ she spent 8 years as the social media lead for the Division of Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention—helping launch and grow their Million Hearts initiative.
