Linda is the director of marketing for a dynamic team at Kajeet, a McLean-based company that provides low-income students Internet outside the classroom. She loves that Kajeet combines the fast-paced world of technology and making a difference for kids in education. Prior to Kajeet, she led the marketing strategy to launch the Swedish children’s clothing brand Polarn O. Pyret into the U.S. retail market. She worked for many years at AMD, a Fortune 500 company at the time, and transformed how the company communicated to its employees—going from print to digital. Before AMD she
managed multiple national and international tech clients at Cohn & Wolfe.
With 20 years of marketing communications experience, Linda believes every company has a great story to tell, and no budget is too small to make an impact in the market space with some creativity, innovation, and courage to take risks.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Texas. She lives in Virginia with her husband and two children.
